Diagnostic ultrasound is a simple, noninvasive and innocuous
technique that permits tissue interfaces to be detected and their
shape and size described. The present project was planned to study
the possible use of diagnostic ultrasound to assess the spontaneous
lesions of testes and epididymides of rams and male goats. For this
purpose, 10 normal organs and 28 organs with spontaneous lesions of
testis and epididymis were collected from rams and male goats after
slaughter. After manual palpation, these organs were imaged
ultrasonically using a B-mode, real time ultrasound scanner, fitted
with a 5.0 MHz convex array transducer. After ultrasound
examination, each organ was dissected and the nature of the lesions
and their contents, if any, was observed. Tissue samples from
selected organs were processed for histopathological studies after
staining with hematoxylin and eosin stain. There was no difference
in the echotexture of normal testes and epididymides of both
species i.e. rams and male goats.
The development of agriculture is utmost task in agriculturally
dominated economies. The objective of agricultural development is
to achieve socio-economic development. Present study is an attempt
to assess the agriculture and socio-economic development of
Rohilkhand. The study is based on a comprehensive field survey of
thirty seven villages. It concentrate on land use classification of
Rohilkhand to drive maximum benefits from each type of land whether
agricultural or non-agricultural. Crop combination regions worked
out keeping in view the importance of integrated assemblage of
various crops. The crop-wise growth computed on the basis of linear
regression. Agricultural productivity regions worked out to
delineate the general pattern of productivity in the districts of
the region. A causal relationship between the variables of
agriculture and socio-economic development has been computed to
know the regional imbalances. The levels of agriculture and
socio-economic development worked out by using the Z score
technique. This study examines what a situation is like and
explaining how it got that way, and goes on to predict where it is
going next and what should be done in response.
Matri (Lathyrus sativus) is a low cost and indigenous leguminous
crop. we use matri protein isolate as protein source.
Physico-chemical, sensory characteristics of infant formula were
determined. The product was packed in polyethylene bags and stored
at room temperature for a period of 90 days and analysis of the
product were done at every 30 days interval. Statistical analysis
revealed a non-significant effect of treatments and storage on
moisture of infant formula. Statistical analysis revealed that
storage had significant effect on the pH and acidity of infant
formula, whereas treatment and their interaction effect were found
to be significant. All the four treatments showed a significant
difference for the pH values of infant for formula. Acidity of
infant formula is 1.1 % at the start of the study which
significantly up to 1.6 at 90 days of storage period. Statistical
analysis revealed that the treatments had a non-significant effect
on Protein, Fat, total sugars content and ash of infant formula. On
the other hand, storage as well as the interaction between
treatments and storage showed a non-significant effect on the all
parameters content of infant formula.
In today's living environment there is a lot of progress and
innovations in the discipline of Computer Graphics which was not so
in the 1950s. As the field of graphics is extending day by day, we
intended to write this book in a manner that beginners may benefit
from it in all areas. We started off with a detailed introduction
of the topic, tools used, hardware and software requirements.
Followed by laying out a proper foundation for coding and the
format of OpenGL syntax in particular. This book has been designed
in such a manner that it may even serve as a hands-on manual for
Computer Graphics students using OpenGL as a tool. By not only
setting tasks and encouraging the beginners to execute it in order
to get the appropriate results as given in the book, but also
providing them with a complete set of codes which they may use or
alter as per their requirements. Different algorithms have been
included in the book, to help the reader understand the logical and
mathematical concepts and their implementation behind each code.
We need security and shelter within art's four walls When some
tragedy and despair in one's life befalls. Where real life at times
can seem so harsh and cold, Allow art, with its dimensions, to
embrace and hold. When art touches life we are left with questions
and very few concrete answers. Why do we live? Why do we die? Why
do we invent? Why is the world as it is? What would our lives be
like in an ideal world? For years, poets, artists and great
thinkers have pontificated on these questions and others, and this
rich, vivid collection of poetry offers fresh considerations of the
myriad possible answers.
